Sunday Night NFL Football Betting Picks Philadelphia Eagles vs. New York Giants

Time for another Manning to shine

Philadelphia Eagles (3-6) at New York Giants (6-3)
08:20 PM ET, November 20, 2011
MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

While many people miss the spectacular game from Peyton Manning, his little brother Eli wants to take the family name sky high and he’s making it happen this year, with a discreet start, the Giants are pushing for a playoff spot and most of it is because Eli Manning is finally taking the leader role of this team. But not all are happy stories on this game; the Philadelphia Eagles started the season with the All-Star status which has fallen apart as the season goes by, with a poor game full of turnovers and mistakes at key moments of the game. Monday Night Football Betting Picks Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles

Monday Night Collision

Chicago Bears (4-3) at Philadelphia Eagles (3-4)
08:30 PM ET, November 7th, 2011
Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

Last Sunday night game, it was Philly all over Dallas, beating them up all game long, getting back on track and finally winning comfortably as they are supposed to do so, because this team got tagged as a Dream Team at the beginning of the season and they started nice, winning against the St Louis Rams, but then the team seemed to fall apart and just being a shade of all the expectations everyone had on them. NFL Week2 Betting Picks and Predictions: Falcons vs Eagles

Michael Vick and his eagles to face his old team Atlanta Falcons

This Sunday which will now be the second week of the NFL season, we will get another chance to watch Michael Vick and his Philadelphia Eagles when he takes on his old team of the Atlanta Falcons. For me it is hard to watch this game this weekend, since I am a true diehard fan of the Atlanta Falcons and I for one miss watching Michael Vick running onto the Gridiron wearing the number seven for the Falcons squad. The Eagles won their first game with a final score of 31-13 at St.Louis Rams, so that was a pretty impressive win and the Atlanta Falcons looked absolutely terrible in their 30-12 loss at the Chicago Bears.

As of right now, the line is PK which for those out there that don`t bet nor follow lines this means that it`s pretty much even and either team can walk away with the win. The total for the game so far starts at forty nine and half points, but unless the Atlanta offense really get their act together I don`t see any chance at all of that total going over.

Even though the Atlanta Falcons were limited to a sad twelve points in their first game, one can`t put the blame on Matt Ryan the Quarterback because he did his part; they just failed to score when they needed to do so the most. He was 31-47 in passing and threw an impressive 319 yards, but did not throw a single Touchdown pass for a Quarterback of his talent, that has to be a big blow to his moral and confidence. I just hope that he comes out here on Sunday with a good attitude and show the Eagles what being in the “Dirty South” is all about, we all know that the Atlanta Dome will be full and there is nothing better than playing in front of a loving home crowd, so my play for this game is Atlanta Falcons will win but barely.

NFL Playoffs Free Picks and Predictions: Green Bay at Philadelphia

NFL Green Bay at Philadelphia Sunday Jan  9th

Green Bay will play at the NFC East champion Eagles in a first-round game Sunday. A week after the Packers put up 45 points for the second time, they had one of their worst scoring efforts this season. They were shut out for nearly three quarters and didn’t get their lone touchdown until Rodgers’ 1-yard throw to tight end Donald Lee with 12:42 left in the final quarter for the deciding points. NFl Monday Night Football Free Betting Picks and Predictions:Philadelphia at Washington

Albert Haynesworth has been suspended without pay for the team’s final four games for conduct detrimental to the club. He was notified of the club’s decision this morning by general manager Bruce Allen.

Head coach Mike Shanahan said the inability to communicate with Haynesworth, with whom he hasn’t seen eye-to-eye, proved to be too much to overcome.

“Despite the club’s numerous attempts to persuade Albert Haynesworth to abide by the terms of his contract, he has repeatedly refused to cooperate with our coaching staff in a variety of ways over an extended period of time. Among other things, he has consistently indicated to our defensive coaches that he refuses to play in our base defense or on first-down or second-down nickel situations. He has also refused to follow the instructions of our coaches both during weekly practices and during actual games as well.

NFL Week 11 Free Picks and Predictions:NY Giants at Philadelphia

Perhaps the real reason is Vick, who turned in the physical feat people have always hoped he would after his impressive college career at Virginia Tech. Despite not even having to play the whole game, Vick completed 20 of 28 passes for 333 yards and four touchdowns. He was pretty impressive running the ball too. If it weren’t for Jerome Harrison’s 50-yard TD run, Vick would have led the Eagles in rushing with 80 yards on eight carries, and two more touchdowns. Saying that, Vick was the star of the game would be an understatement. Read the rest of this entry »
