| So far this week has been College Basketball mayhem with teams finishing up their regular season play and thereby determining regular season Conference champions. So Conferences have even started their individual tournaments, so I want to take this chance to offer an update on how things have been carried out so far. |

Saturdays ACC showdown was no let down by any means maybe it was not the outcome most people had come to expect. The Duke Blue Devils were looking to beat their in state rivals the UNC Tar Heels and hence win the ACC regular season championship and sweep the series this year. |

NCAA College Basketball Sat. Jan 29th Minnesota at Purdue  CBS 1 pm
Playing the nation’s No. 1-ranked team tends to expose weaknesses in any opponent, but 12th-ranked Purdue will be looking to regain its confidence and its defensive tenacity on Saturday against Minnesota after Ohio State thrashed the Boilermakers 87-64 Tuesday night in Columbus, Ohio. “They stole our spirit,” said Purdue coach Matt Painter, whose team suffered the second most lopsided regular-season loss in Painter’s six seasons in West Lafayette. Pittsburgh is a perfect 5-0 this season, logging double-digit wins in each of its first three games before playing tighter bouts against Maryland and Texas in New York City last week as part of the 2K Sports Classic. So we are down to the last four teams and only one of them is a No.1 seed. Who would’ve thought the Blue Devils would go this far? Duke was probably the most underrated team of all no.1 seeds. Who would believe that one of the best teams, a top ranked team, felt against a non top ranked team? Butler, which was number five in the seed for the tournament beat up Syracuse, the favorite, and at last Kansas State claimed in that way a spot at the final four competition. The South Florida Bulls is going to play against the Rutgers Scarlet Knights this Thursday November the 12. The venue will be the Rutgers Stadium located at the nice city of Piscataway at New Jersey. The Road to the Final Four has reached the end of it. Now we have the Final Game as predicted before the tournament started. Now we at the end of this long tournament and after 100 games we are just waiting until the game we were waiting for since the beginning. The game will be played at the Ford Field in Detroit Michigan at 9:20 PM ET and is going to be televised in CBS Sports. “If we play good and they play good, we’re losing. The Blue Devils were expected to be good, but not this good. The team, as a whole, is young, yet they are surprising everyone by starting off the year 16 and 1, with the only loss coming by a single point to Pittsburgh. A lot of teams are well balances, but Duke is the epitome of balance, with six players averaging nine points or more. Duke is currently on top of the ACC rankings because of the unexpected loss of UNC to Maryland. They are also rated number three in the countries top 25 rankings. Early in the season people thought it would be a good season if the Blue Devils could finish the year in the top-25, now experts are trying to figure out if they can be significant title challengers.
