Miami looks to pour on the heat Miami Heat vs. New York Knicks Not only will this game stand as the last meeting between the Miami Heat and the New York Knicks of the season, but it might be the most important game the Knicks play of the regular season. This game will give the Knicks the knowledge they will need to really see what kind of a shot they have in the postseason, if they can beat the Heat that will most definitely put them in their A game (after losing back to back games to the Celtics, another eastern conference team). Philly and Memphis make an odd trade Both of these two teams are on a completely different spectrum than they were last season, the Memphis went from being a deep playoff runner for the western conference last year to looking for answers on what has gone so wrong this year while the Philadelphia 76ers have gone from not making the playoffs last season to being the third best team in the east. But to fans, experts and even players, this trade did not make all that much sense. Derek Fisher out of Los Angeles Late Thursday afternoon, on March 15th the Los Angeles Lakers and the Houston Rockets completed a last minute trade that would shock most people, with an expiring contract, 11 year, 5 time NBA champion point guard Derek Fisher of the Lakers was traded to Houston along with their 2012 first round pick in the draft for a young center named Jordan Hill, now given that they have easily the top 3 best center already in Andrew Bynum and have said that they would love to build around him, most were left thinking why another center, if size was the last thing lacking on this team.
