Golf Betting Picks: The US Masters

Can anyone break the Masters Curse?

The first major of the year is already here and what better way that to spend your Easter Weekend than sitting watching the US Masters one of the most exciting tournaments of the year if not the best there is to offer. If you want to watch the entire action this weekend, you can enjoy the coverage via CBS, which on Saturday starts at 3:30pm Eastern and ends at 7pm Eastern and on Sunday the coverage will start at 2pm Eastern and end at 7pm Eastern. I for one might have to be at work, but I know for a fact that I will be sitting watching bits and pieces of the coverage because Augusta National is simply something special. Golf Betting Picks: Tiger Woods

Tiger back on top!

Tiger Woods was for what seems to have been an eternity regarded as the greatest golfer to ever play the game. He has won 14 Major Championships, 16 world championships and leads all golfers in PGA tour victories at 72. He has always been the humble, low key guy that is simply great at what he does, family man that keeps his personal life out of the media, but loves to fool around when the time is right. He has been inducted into the California Hall of Fame as well as being named Sports Illustrated Sportsman of the year; his close friends include some of the greats such as President Barak Obama and Oprah Winfrey, to name a couple. Golf Betting Picks: Puerto Rico Open

Puerto Rico Open has past Major Winners in field

It is not very often that a PGATOUR event gets over shadowed and pretty much left in the dark, but that is pretty much what is happening this week in Puerto Rico. It is only a few times each year that the PGATOUR has more than one event the same week and that happens when the top players are playing in the World Golf Championships. Golf Betting Picks: The Hond Classic

Tiger Woods to play The Honda Classic for first time as a Professional

What a great past week for the golf circuit, for starters we saw a rookie win the regular PGATOUR tournament in Mexico in only his fifth start on the Tour now if that is not impressive then I am not really sure what is. The way John Huh won was for starters maybe lucking especially considering that Robert Allen by proceeded to double bogey the last hole in order to fall into a play off with Huh, but then for Huh to win the tournament on the eighth hole of a play off with a par was even more shocking. Though that is how golf goes at times and my hat goes off to Huh because he could have gone out into the play off and blown it all on the first extra hole due to nerves, but that was not the case maybe this is just the beginning of a great career, time will tell. Golf Betting Picks: PGA TOUR and EUROPEAN TOUR

Europeans look to try for third straight win at Accenture

This is probably one of the most exciting events of the year on the PGATOUR and EUROPEAN TOUR when we put aside the majors of course; there is nothing better than a good old match play event. That is exactly what we have this week and one thing that you can throw straight out the window is the rankings because at any given time these sixty four players can beat one another. The fun thing about match play is that if you have one really bad hole don`t worry too much you can just throw that out and you just lose one hole even if you are beat by four strokes on that certain hole. You will also see that players will be a lot more aggressive and they will be pin hunting which of course leads to lots of birdies and even eagles too. Read the rest of this entry »

Golf Betting Picks: PGA TOUR

Tiger Woods makes first appearance on PGA TOUR

Ladies and Gentlemen the time has finally arrived for Tiger Woods to make his first appearance this year on the PGA TOUR, he has already played one event but on the European Tour and I have to say I was impressed by his performance. It will be interesting to see whether or not Tiger Woods will be able to come out and repeat his performance from Europe or will the pressure and the expectations get the better of him this week. Golf Betting picks: Maximilian Keiffer European Tour

Dream Start to season for Keiffer

Some golfers sit around and dream about winning and others go out there and take care of business. That is the case this week of Maximilian Kieffer who most players refer to as Max. The European Challenge Tour has just started its season and there is no better way that to come out and win the first event because that for starters puts you at the top of the money list and second it provides a great confidence booster. PGA Golf Betting Free Picks: Humana Challenge

Phil Mickelson makes season debut at Humana Challenge

What a sad thing to see that this year we will no longer have the Bob Hope Classic an event that was played over five days on great courses with amateurs taking part in the big Pro-Am event. Don`t be too upset because what really happened was that they simply changed the name to the Humana Challenge and this year the event will only be a four day event so they won`t be starting this Wednesday as they had in the past. Africa Open

Can an outsider win the Africa Open?

Well what do you know the European Tour is starting its season again, am I wrong or did it just end like two weeks ago or maybe three, but boy these guys don`t get any break huh. Well for the ones that want a break they can take it considering that it is just the start of the season, but for those that are interested in playing the first event the Africa Open.
