London will be witness of what could be a replay of the Champions League final from 2008 when Arsenal and Barcelona made it to the finals. At that time Arsenal had a very strong and mature team with many figures, today they have a very good squad, but it’s very young. Barcelona has some good additions to the squad since that final, but they still have their way to do things, they don’t buy many names, they create them in their minor leagues.
That final was a splendid game with names like Ronaldinho Gaucho in Barcelona, Thiery Henry in the striker zone for Arsenal, also players like Jens Lehman, today he is with Stuttgart, was defending Arsenal’s goalie. A brief of what happened in that game, the game was held in Paris at the Stade de France. Jens Lehman was sent off early due a red card he got, but Arsenal managed to score, Sol Campbell made the 1-0 for the Gunners. Starting the second half Samuel Eto scores to put the score 1-1, and a few minutes later Juliano Belleti scores the final 2-1 to proclaim victory and to be Champions of Europe.
