SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
Coverage: CBS

The Sec is one of them most desired conferences to play for, they have some of the most elite college football teams in the country and this Saturday at 4pm they will have a conference champion.

The duel for the title brings the Georgia Bulldogs to the 50 yard line to take on the infamous LSU Tigers a game that college football fans dream of, two power houses relying only on their ability to perform on the gridiron.

LSU holds 2 slight advantages, one, that they are the #1 team in the country and they have been in this situation so many times before they know what to expect and how to prepare and the second is LSU has already beaten the Bulldogs in the past and have a much better defense, in a game like this the difference maker is the defense, they will set the tone and they will prevail in the end.

The Georgia Bulldogs started off their season with a bad feeling, having lost the first 2 games of the season, they didn’t look that good. After losing the second game to #12 South Carolina by a field goal, the head coach sat the tem down and asked them to think about how they wanted the rest of the season, the players did just that.

Going into the third game of the season, something changed and the Bulldogs haven’t looked back since, currently on a 10 game winning streak, QB Aaron Murray has completed 202 passes out of 331 for 2698 yards and 32 touchdowns. Running back Isaiah Crowell has carried the ball 172 times for 832 yards and 5 scores while wide receiver Malcolm Mitchell has 48 receptions for 889 yards and 8 end zone trips.

Louisiana State University best known as the LSU Tigers are the best team in college football, something they not only pride themselves on but try to repeat year in year out. They are undefeated having beaten all star teams such as Oregon to open the season, #2 Alabama and #3 Arkansas. QB Jarrett Lee is 104 out of 167 passes for 1306 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Running back Michael Ford has carried the ball 117 times for 721 yards and 7 scores; wide receiver Rueben Randle has 48 catches for 889 yards and 8 td’s.

It’s all or nothing for the SEC title, Georgia will lay everything on the line to be the first team to strike the mighty LSU Tigers down in defeat and they want it more than anything. The call will come for the Bulldogs defense to step up and make things happen, create pressure and keep the attack on without mercy.

LSU will come into this game with their defense already on game point; they will have to get the offense to run as smoothly as ever to get around the Bulldogs great safeties. LSU is -14 in this game with the total set at 46, they can easily cover that spread, but certain things will have to fall in their favor, I would stay away from the 2 touchdown line but take the under, 46 is high for defenses that pride themselves on shutting teams down.
