D-1

This Sunday We’ll have two Team’s that have struggled all year long, they thought that they would be looking to get in the playoffs by this time a year, but Philadelphia Eagles{5-4} is just holding on to a wild card spot with the record they have,  While the Chicago Bears{4-5} are clearly out of the playoff picture.

Eagle loss at San Diego 23-31,  In a game that they settle for field goals, instead  of touchdown, and the Chargers were making touchdowns, not until the 4th quarter did they start making touchdowns, and by then it was to late of course,  Philadelphia’s Donovan McNabb threw for a season-high 450 yards, completing 35 of 55, and two late touchdowns. He was intercepted in the end zone by Antonio Cromartie on the game’s last play, The Eagles were stuffed in their first three times inside the San Diego 10, including when they had the ball first-and-goal from the 1 after Quentin Jammer’s pass interference penalty in the end zone in the second quarter. They had to settle for field goals of 18, 25 and 25 yards.

Chicago loss on Thurday night against San Francisco 6-10, in what turned  out to be a defensive battle, Jay Cutler had a game to forget,  Jay was 29 of 52 for 307 yard’s and no touchdowns , Cutler threw a career-high five interceptions with his last coming in the end zone on the game’s final play, and San Francisco snapped a four-game losing streak,   “I’ve played Thursday games before and been successful,” Cutler said. “It didn’t affect us. We saw everything coming. They didn’t have any surprises for us. We just didn’t execute.” that pretty much sum’s  up the game,  for the 49er this is what the Coach said, “We did just enough on the offense to win the game,” Singletary said.

This is going to be a do or die, for any playoff hopes for the Eagles, while the Bears it’s a real steep climb, Out of this hole they dug for themself’s, Bears are having a rough time, just not playing at all in what was expected, with the new guy on the Helm, Eagles Come away with a win in Chicago.
