The number 23 Virginia Tech Hokies will play against the East Carolina Pirates. The game is Scheduled to start at 7:30 PM ET at the Dowdy-Ficklen Stadium Located at Greenville, North Carolina. The game will be nationwide televised on ESPN and ESPN360.

I really think that this game is going to help Virginia Tech to gain once again that confidence that was lost on the previous two games that turned out in a loss. They were really disappointed about it and now they can probably face the light at the end of the tunnel once again playing against a team that does not work that well.

On Oct. 10, Virginia Tech (5-3) beat Boston College 48-14 for its fifth straight win to remain in the national championship picture. However, after losing 28-23 at then No.19 Georgia Tech and being upset 20-17 at home by North Carolina last Thursday, the Hokies are looking for motivation with their national title hopes dashed and ACC championship game chances suddenly slim.

“I think the motivation is to come out here so you don’t feel like this again,” said Hokies linebacker Cody Grimm, dismissing a sixth consecutive 10-win season as a motivator. “Ten wins is one thing, but I don’t want to feel like this any more and the only way to do that is to win.”

So, based on this preview, I can really say that Virginia Tech has this game and most likely Virginia Tech is going to perform the way they were not able to do in the last two games.
