Thursday brings you ACC Clash between Virginia Tech & Georgia Tech

This coming Thursday night there will be three different football games to chose from, there is that of Ohio playing Central Michigan which is an MAC matchup, then there is powerhouse Houston taking on Tulane and they are a thirty four point favorite.

When one sees a line like that, you just know it is going to be a blow out and yes you will see touchdowns, but I prefer to watch a game that goes back and forth that makes it all so much better in my mind.

The third game this Thursday is the one that I am interested in that of Virginia Tech playing the Yellow Jackets at the Bobby Dodd Stadium at 8pm via ESPN, the matchup put the number ten ranked Hokies against the number twenty-one ranked Yellow Jackets.

Though in the case of the Yellow Jackets a team that has become known for its scoring abilities they have slacked lately due to the opposing teams getting the hang of their offense and shutting them down, I still predict this game to be a scoring game.

Yes the total for the game is at forty-nine right now, but that is because Virginia Tech has a solid defense, but I don`t see the Yellow Jackets being able to contain that offense for the entire game, they will score and numerous times too.

I also feel that Tevin Washington the junior Quarterback from Wetumpka, Alabama will find a way to lead his Yellow Jackets to a win at home.

They are only dogs by one point at home to a much higher ranked Virginia Tech squad, but in order for them to win they will have to produce like they did against their Clemson win.

Georgia Tech are currently 7-2 for the season and 4-2 in ACC play and those losses came back to back and on the road against two unranked teams, but then they bounced back with a nice 31-17 win over the fifth ranked Clemson Tigers.

The Virginia Tech team is 8-1 for the season and 4-1 in ACC play and their only loss came at home to the Clemson squad losing 23-3, it will be interesting which team takes the win because the winner the take the top position in the Coastal division of the ACC.

I personally think it is going to be a close game, but is Tevin Washington has a solid game then I see the Yellow Jackets taking the win.
