Walking of the 1st

LSU Tigers at Ole Miss Rebels
07:00 PM ET, November 19, 2011
Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, OXFORD, MS

It´s always nice to host the number 1 team nationwide, but it´s interesting when you have a team that can give them some fight or at least put some pressure on them. Well, this is not the case for the Ole Miss Rebels this Saturday night, because they will host the LSU Tigers and their perfect season.

The visiting team is nothing less than a heavy favorite for everyone on this game, and there´s no other way to see this matchup where the big question is how many points will the Tigers put on the scoreboard or if they will not look for scandalous numbers and will try to rest some of their key players at least half of the game. This team has it all, demolishing every team in front of them, making no difference if it´s a ranked team or a weak team, they just want to win it all this year and it seems they will continue their perfect record and almost flawless football going until the BCS Championship game.

Ole Miss comes to this game as the victim of what might be called an apocalyptical result, with a 2-8 record this year and walking at the bottom of their Conference they just want the season to be over and start to plan the next one, because this year has been more than painful for the team and a real disappointment for their fans, with a team that has no real threats offensively, through the ground or trough the air, with a week defense that get overwhelmed game after game.

The LSU Tigers Average 369 total yards, with 36.5 points scored and 10.7 allowed per game, on the other side of the field, Ole Miss has an average of 297.8 total yards, 18.7 scored points and 30.2 allowed per game.

The spread of this game has LSU as a 30 point favorite and there´s not much to think about here, take the LSU Tigers here to cover that huge spread because this might be a massacre on the Ole Miss´ field.
