This game features two Big East schools that aren’t having the season ether one expected. South Florida started the season with an impressive win on the road over number 16 Notre Dame, witch catapulted USF into the rankings at #22 in the country.

Starting the season 4 and 0 they were riding high, suddenly starting week 5 they lost something, dropping the next 4 games including their most recent game against Rutgers where they lost in OT by 3, and losing all 4 games in there conference.

Syracuse on the other hand has had a pretty unstable season with 5 wins including a big win at home against #15 West Virginia and 4 losses, 3 being on the road but also going 1 and 3 in the big east.

The Bulls come into this game 43rd overall in points allowed with an average of 23 and 36th overall in points scored with an average of 32.5. B.J Daniels has thrown for 2027 yards and 12 touchdowns, there lead rusher Darrell Scott has ran for 611 yards on 108 carries and has 5 touchdowns on the receiver end Sterling Griffin has accomplished 493 yards on 47 receptions but only 2 touchdowns.

The Orange on their part are the worst rushing team ranked 99 overall with an average of 116.3, and the passing yards are almost as bad averaging 223.1 witch places them 71st overall in the country.

Ryan Nassib has completed 64.9% of his passes for a total of 1960 yards with 18 touchdowns, taking most of the ground work is Antwon Bailey who for his part has ran for 798 yards on 177 carries with 6 TD’s and through the air they have Alec Lemon with 4 touchdowns on 47 receptions and 531 total yards.

They currently have the line set at USF – 3 ½ and a total of 51. To be perfectly honest I see this game being the one that USF snaps their losing streak and win, none of these teams have very good defense, so the overlooks interesting as well. The pick in this game is USF on the spread.
