Texas Longhorns vs. Missouri Tigers

Faurot Field, COLUMBIA, MO

This week we have the Missouri Tigers receiving the Texas Longhorns at home, but this will be anything but comfortable for the ailing Tigers who have been anything but consistent with a current record of 4 wins with 5 loses.

Although you have to admit they have a pretty intense schedule playing 6 of the top schools in the nation and keeping the game within 10 points most of the time including taking Arizona Sate to OT, where they lost by a last minute field goal. This game will be attest of defensive strength for Missouri while they try to find a way to contain one of the most feared offenses in the NCAA.

James Franklin Leads the Tigers out on the field Saturday with 2195 passing yards and 16 td´s on 179 attempts, while Henry Josey will try and steam roll through the trenches looking for touchdown #10 and with an average of 8.6 yards a carry they will need every bit of him.

There last option is T.J Moe, a junior wide receiver that has really stood out this year with 4 td´s on 44 receptions and 547 yards to add to it.

The Longhorns are currently ranked # 16 in the country and have simply beaten up on teams such as rival Texas tech, UCLA and Kansas among others.

With an average of 30 points over their opponents Texas simply plays great football, they are lead by freshman David Ash who is starting to find his rhythm with 3 touchdowns on 65 attempts and 740 yards he still depends heavily on the run game led by Malcolm Brown who has 5 td´s on 133 carries and averages 4.8 yards a carry.

High flying receivers always make things easier and with Mike Davis on your team you feel better grabbing 44 balls out of the sky and landing 4 td´s on 547 yards is pretty impressive.

I really like the Longhorns to come out guns blazing and try to end this game quickly, Missouri on their side will have to run the ball almost perfectly in order to stay in this one and it will come down to turnovers, if the Tigers can take care of the ball, they might be able to stay in this one…

Texas is favorite by 2 points and it looks like they will come through on this one!
