One had there first loss, the other was looking for there first win, When New York Jets{3-1} visite Miami Dolphins{1-3} this Monday night, both of these Teams are looking to get back on track, New York had a bad loss, at the hand of an undefeated New Orleans Saint’s, and Miami had there first win of the season under the back up Quarterback.
New York sufferd there first loss, in a bad way, because Mark Sanchez had an off day, in his young Career, he had 14 of 24 for 138 yard’s and 3 INT’s with a Team total of 2 fumble’s, “My mistakes killed us. They absolutely killed us,” Sanchez said. “The defense played well enough to win. That whole game is 10-10 without three interceptions and a fumble. You turn the ball over like that in this league, and you can’t win.” like the rookie Quarterback said, you can’t make that many mistakes and not pay the price, specially when, two undefeated Teams meet. New York pulled to 17-10 on Thomas Jones’ 15-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, capping a drive set up by Reggie Bush’s fumble on the Saints 34.
The Saints’ defense held from there, however, allowing New Orleans to take control with an 11-play, 74-yard touchdown drive.
And Miami had there first win of this early season, with the back-up Quarterback 2nd year Chad Henne, who had his first N.F.L start, Replacing Chad Pennington, sidelined by a season ending, shoulder injury,
Henne had 14 of 22 for 115 yard’s 1 TD and 2 INT’s and was able to shake off, 6 sack’s to get the win, “It’s definitely a great feeling,” Henne said. “Overall we did a wonderful job. Everybody deserves credit for this win,” Wildcat success helped Henne. The Dolphins used the formation nine times for 58 yards, including a 38-yard run by Ronnie Brown, their longest gain this season. Brown ran for 115 yards and two touchdowns, and Ricky Williams added 85 and one score.
Mark Sanchez and New York, should be able to recuperate, there composure, and put presure on the inexperience Quarterback, not make so many mistakes and come out of Miami with a win.
