The Chicago Bears (3-1) will visit the Atlanta Falcons (3-1) this Sunday night, at 8:20 pm ET, in a game that is expected to have a lot of excitement and great plays. Both teams come from winning their previous games, and their positive record is a clear sign that this match will not be easy for either franchise. All the action will be on NBC.
The Bears rested this week, and the one before that, they beat the Detroit Lions by scoring twice as much as them: 48-24. The Lions were still celebrating their win against Washington, a victory that broke a 19 game losing streak that was already tied with the second longest in league history, and had a chance to get two consecutive wins for the first time since 2007. as they hanged on for the first half (they led the first quarter 14-7, and went to halftime tied to 21).
However, the Lions were devoured by the Bears in the second half, as they allowed 24 points and scored only a mere field goal to ease the pain a little bit. Chicago quarterback Jay Cutler completed 18 of 28 attempts for 141 yards and two touchdowns. Detroit’s coach Jim Schwartz had no repair in admitting that in the second half they “were outplayed, were out-coached, we were poor on special teams, poor on offense, poor on defense…” It was the Bears third straight win since starting the season with a loss.
The Atlanta Falcons were also on the winning side their last game and ended San Francisco’s five-game home winning streak by defeating them with a crushing 45-10. Roddy White and Michael Turner carried most of the Falcons offense, as they combined for 5 touchdowns. White had 8 receptions for 210 yards (an average of 26.2) and made two TD’s, while Turner rushed 97 yards in 22 attempts (4.4 average) and scored three touchdowns.
Both teams at the moment have the second place in their division (Bears in NFC North, NFC South for the Falcons), and have scored and allowed a similar amount of points, with Chicago scoring 105 and receiving 78, while Atlanta has 102 and 63. The Falcons are still undefeated at home in this still-early season, and rumor has it that they may come strong enough with their crowd and cut the Bears winning streak, while maintaining their home record untouched. Tight game, where the Falcons will soar over the skies and catch the Bears when they least expect it.

I’ve always been a fan of the guy. It’s hard not to like a WR who just gets straight back up after taking a big hit. He’s been Mr Reliable for me in fantasy football for a couple of years now too.
Yeah, I think that is a great player. Is not one of my favorites, but he is good enough in my personal opinion…
Go Falcons!
