J-1

Arizona Cardinals{3-2} had a great warm-up game, with Seattle,  before they meet New York Giants{5-1} which was the team to beat, but after the beating that the Giants received, this passed weekend, in the hands of New Orleans, and now head’s are starting to turn, and look other ways.  New Orleans and Arizona are two of the way of those look’s, again after last weekend’s games.

Kurt Warner tied NFL record, for being the fastest to throw for 30,000 yards in a career,  Arizona had a great game against Seattle, with an early lead, Arizona led 14-0 before Seattle’s offense ran its first play, 12 minutes into the first quarter, and never looked back.  Arizona’s defense played strong, sacking Matt Hasselbeck 5 time’s and allowing Seattle to it’s fewest point’s, at home since 2002, in a game that Arizona shined.  Kurt Warner threw 32 of 41 for 276 Yard’s and 2 Td’s and 1 INT, not only did Warner tied a record but Larry Fitzgerald had a career high,  with 13 reception with 100 Yard’s and 1 TD. The Cardinals are tied atop the NFC West with idle San Francisco. Now it’s on to a real test, at the Giants, “Oh, that game is huge,” Fitzgerald said. “It’s really going to be an opportunity to see where we’re at.”

New York has its own proving to do after losing its first game of the season to scorching New Orleans, in a game of downbeat’s.  Eli Manning first time in the Super Dome and not a good welcome for him.  And what happened to the defense,  seven different Saints scored a touchdown for the first time in franchise history.  Eli Manning threw 14 of 31 for 178 yards, 1 TD and 1 INT as well as  a sack and a fumble.  Saints recovered it and ran it for a touchdown, that’s the kind of day they had, the Giants gave up 34 points at halftime, which matched the total the Giants had allowed in the first half in their first five games combined.

Tough game after a tough loss, but the Giants are a team that can recuperate after such a bad loss, and they will, there will be records broken in this game, the way these two quarterback’s have been playing, it’s just a game like this one to do it , a close game but the Giants came out the winners.
