Revenge is a dish best served cold Wisconsin Badgers at Ohio State Buckeye Last week we saw one of the most unexpected results when Michigan State Spartans delivered Wisconsin Badgers their first loss of the season on a game that kept everyone right on the edge of their seat all game long. Ohio State comes from a bye week which helped them to prepare their vengeance against the Badgers. |

Wisconsin is ranked as the number 15 team nationwide, with a scary offense and an even scarier defense, ranked 5th on points scored per game and 6th on allowed points. There is no surprise on those rankings when you look at their well balance team and their great performances both sides of the football. Offensively, quarterback Russell Wilson (1780 passing yards and 16 touchdowns) and running back Montee Ball (768 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns) carry this offense and they just crash every team they have faced but the Spartans last week, who managed to score 37 points against a defense who allowed no more than 17 points on their previous games and shut down one of the best offenses nationwide, but this week expect Wisconsin to jump on the field looking to get their game back and wash all wounds from last Saturday. It’s hard to look at Ohio State this year, being just a shadow from previous years’ team, with a 4-3 record and just depending on their defense because they are having a hard time trying to build a solid offense. They are ranked high (12th on allowed points), and this team sure hits hard on every team in front of them, smashing defensive lines week after week, but struggling way too much when it comes to scoring points. They are coming from a bye week that fits just perfect so they could prepare this game against the Buckeyes, the same team who won last year this same matchup with a forceful 31-18 on Oct. Wisconsin averages 511.7 total yards per game, 47.4 scored points and 13.6 points allowed. Ohio State averages only 302.9 total yards per game, 23.3 scored points and 16.3 allowed. The Badgers have lost their last two games at Ohio State and that’s another reason why this game presents a chance for revenge for both teams, and it makes this game particularly great and attractive, with great a great offense coming from Wisconsin and a powerful defense on the Ohio State side. The line for the game has the Badgers favorite by 7½ points and the total is 51½ and I like Wisconsin here, I think their desires and abilities to win are greater than Ohio State, just stay tuned to ESPN at 8pm ET and enjoy the game.
