Here are two Teams, Indianapolis Colts{1-0}, and Miami Dolphins{0-1} that are looking to finish the season strong, but with different beginings this season. One looked great in the opener, and the other was stuffed, and showed very little offense.
Indianapolis had some questions about their defense, but those were answered, at the end of their opening game, this passed weekend, when they stopped, there nemesis, Maurice Jones-Drew and Jacksonville offense Maurice average of 6.3 yard in 6 previews games, but not Sunday he had 21 carries for 97 yards, but did score Jacksonville only touchdown, in a 12 to 14 loss. Manning threw 28 of 38 for 301 yards, but had one TD and one INT, not as good as he would of liked, but it’s a win. Receiver Anthony Gonzalez got injured in the game, on the 0ther hand teammate Reggie Wayne filled in with 10 catches for 162 yards.
Miami did not do as well, in fact they did not do much. The running game was, not there, Ronnie Brown had 43 yards and Ricky Williams had 39 yards rushing, not good at all. Pennington had an off day as well, with a 21 of 29 for 176 yards one TD and one INT, not much to show on an opening game.
It look’s like Manning is back on track , for another run at the fourth ring and he’s just getting more experience, and making harder for the rest of the league. I don’t see any reason why, they should not win this game.
