Saturday Night will bring some good action between the #7 the UFC Trojans and the #24 the California Golden Bears. The game is going to be held at the Memorial Stadium located in Berkeley California and is going to be televised on ABC at 8:00 PM ET this October the 3rd.

We can see that the teams are pretty much balanced in terms of normal numbers despite the skills on the offence or the defense. Both of the teams are well balanced on the amount of Rushing Yards, Passing Yards and Total Yards, but, the only thing in which just one team is leading is on the points scored per game. California is scoring and average of 37.3 points while UFC is scoring 28.5. It seems not to be a big difference, but in an average number, a point could make the difference between a great team and a normal team in terms of scoring.

Southern California had no trouble bouncing back from a tough loss. It might be tougher to move past the events of recent days. USC (7-1, 1-1 Pac-10) rebounded from a loss to Washington with a 27-6 win at home over Washington State last Saturday.

The Golden Bears (3-1, 0-1) had their six-game winning streak snapped last week with an embarrassing 42-3 rout at Oregon. After averaging 48.7 points in their first three games, they failed to score after Vince D’Amato’s 47-yard field goal gave them a 3-0 lead. It was Cal’s most lopsided loss under coach Jeff Tedford, and worst defeat since losing 55-14 to USC in 2001.

“There’s a lot of veteran guys on this team that understand that that’s one game, and it’s really important that we put that behind us, that we learn the lessons from that game and we move forward,” said Tedford, whose team dropped 18 spots in the AP poll.

Anyways, looking at the background I can tell that the Trojans are in huge trouble this time playing at California. They are strong and their defense is going to correct some of the bad decisions they took in the last game. I think that California will defeat by much the Trojans to come back to the winning streak and they won’t let another team win over them.
