The Boston Red Sox will play at the New York Yankees this Sunday 27th. The game looks interesting and we don’t know yet how the shoulder of Pettitte is going to handle the pressure but that is why we have to watch the game: to see it by ourselves. The game will be televised at ESPN and is scheduled to start at 1:05 PM ET.

Well, is not a secret that Pettitte’s shoulder is kind in a bad status. No matter what they say, I know that a shoulder complication takes like forever to be healed. So, I think that he is not going to be ready to perform in that game. His numbers are showing an ERA of 4.15, a WHIP of 1.35 and a winning record of 13-7 while Paul Gregory Byrd from Boston is showing and ERA of 6.04, a WHIP of 1.89 and a winning record of 1-2 in what we have done of the season.

Pettitte said his shoulder felt fine after Monday’s start and he doesn’t anticipate any further trouble, and we can know this based in the New York Times reports. “I hope so,” Pettitte said. “I think the rest helped. It helped (Monday), for me to say I could have gone back out there for the seventh inning.” Pettitte had his previous start skipped due to shoulder fatigue but pitched well after some early rust on Monday night. The shoulder shouldn’t be a problem moving forward.
