College Football Saturday- Crimson Tide vs. Nittany Lions Saturday has always been the day for College Football with so many games that you can get lost or simply not sure which games to watch or to follow. Sure you can sit and follow the Top Twenty Five games and see how they are doing, but if you love football you know that is not possible, one always wants to know all the scores and if you bet you try and see if you can find something to bet for the second halves. There are always great matchups on Saturdays and if you get the chance to watch one of them on TV you are for sure doing something right, one game that caught my eye for this Saturday is the one being played at 3.30pm Eastern Time and being showed nationally on ABC. The game that is on my mind is that of the Alabama Crimson Tide that will travel to Pennsylvania in order to play the Nittany Lions of Penn State University. |

The game will be a repeat of last year’s game that was played on September 11th when Alabama won that game with a final score of 24-3.The game for Saturday is saying the total points will be 42 and that Alabama is favorite by ten points, the thing that is a certain done deal is that both teams will be running the ball a lot since both teams are known for their running games and not their passing games. For Alabama last week it was an easy win over Kent State University with a final score of 48-7 with two of their Quarterbacks seeing action and both throwing interceptions. It was first of all A.J. McCarron that threw 14-23 in passing completions and for a total of 226 yards, he threw for one Touchdown but also threw two interceptions. The Other Quarterback was Phillip Sims who went 7-14 in passed thrown for a total of 73 yards, he was sacked twice and threw two interceptions not really impressive. Penn State for their first game beat Indiana State with a final score of 41-7 their Quarterback Matthew McGloin was solid from passing with 6-8 for 77 yards no touchdowns and was sacked once. If both teams use their defense to the best extent then one can expect a low scoring game, but when the final whistle is blown I don`t see any reason why Alabama will not leave Beaver Stadium with another win. |
