Thursday College Football Action Brings LSU Tigers against Miss State Bulldogs

It is so hard for me to believe, but dam we are already in week three of College Football! I am not sure what happened to the first two weeks of the schedule, but it feels like I have slept thru them since I can barely remember what teams won and lost. I`m a Bearcat fan and I can at least say that Cinci won their first game and then got a good old ass kicking by Tennessee in the second game of the season.

Thursday night this week there will be a single Football game, that of LSU Tigers that will travel to Mississippi to play at the Davis Wade Stadium when they face the Bulldogs of Mississippi State University. LSU is favorite by three and a half points to beat the Bulldogs, the Tigers are currently ranked third in the Nation and have won both of their first two games with a first game of the season where they looked extremely solid versus the Ducks of Oregon with a score of 40-27 then they beat a weak Northwestern State 49-3.

Everyone this year were expecting Mississippi State to be a good team and they came out in their first game against Memphis and put a beating on them with a score of 59-14, then their second game was at Auburn who is a conference rival in the SEC. That second game was a disappointment for the Bulldogs as they ended up losing the game 41-34 they might have lost the game by only a Touchdown, but it was the Auburn Tigers that looked to be in control of their game. The first quarter was tied at 14-14 and it was the Second quarter that made the difference with Auburn taking that Quarter 17-10 the second half was all even Steven and gave the Tigers an all important conference win at home.

This game will either make or break Miss St chances of having a good season or not, but I don`t really see anyway of them beating LSU. The player that the Bulldogs have to watch out for is Michael Ford he has so far gotten twenty-seven carries for a total of 168 yards and has racked up four touchdowns in two games so far this season.
