These Two Teams have been to the Playoffs regularly as of late, not seen them in the playoffs is strange, but this year the Philadelphia Eagles{9-6}, Only have five players remain on their roster from the Super Bowl XXXIX team, While the Indianapolis Colts{12-4}, have a healthy Peyton Manning and are expected to have 20 players returning, it’s a good bet they’ll be back in post season, with eighth straight postseason appearance (and 10th in the last 11 years) and seventh consecutive 12-win season. Philadelphia believes that they are coming back bigger and stronger, they drafted wide receiver Jeremy Maclin and running back LeSean McCoy, to give the returning QB Donovan McNabb{now with Michael Vick waiting on the bench} other much needed options, the Eagles relied to much on Mcnabb and Westbrook to give them a spark, while the Team was very inconsistant last year, with Westbrook’s injuries, and McNabb not having all his weapons, this is a rejuvinating year for the Eagles, but they have enough good talent to go to the playoffs again.
The Colts on the other hand have lot’s of Coaching changes, with Tony Dungy gone, and a new Head Coach at the helm, Jim Caldwell a long time assistent of Dungy, so he knows the system, nothing new there but lot’s of moving around within the same Team, Peyton Manning also has new people, with Marvi Harrison also gone, new players both on wide reciever {AnthonyGonzales} to the other side of Reggie Wayne and running back {Donald Brown} to help Joseph Addai, the defense is strong but not as big as the NFL standard , also Manning need to take advantege of every play, and not only when they have to have it.
Sure the Colts have new Coaches , but Manning know what needs to be done to move this Team forward , The Eagles have lots of new players to deal with, And Sure they have a great Coach in Andy Reid, but with all those new players they need to become a solid group fast, Peyton Manning will have to take full advantege of the home field, to beat this tough Eagles Team , and I believe he will ,and early on too.
