This Saturday July 11th, Las Vegas, Nevada will have the 100th edition of the Ultimate Fight Championship. The venue will be the Mandalay Bay Events Center and besides the amazing place in which the fights will be hosted, the most attractive thing is the tremendous fight that will be taking place between Brock Lesnar and Frank Mir.
The odds are pointing that the favorite to win the main fight is going to be Brock Lesnar and I don’t blame the people that is making move the line in that way. Lesnar is probably one of the top ten most talented Ultimate Fighters has right now.
This edition of the UFC is probably one of the most waited editions of the year. Since UFC91 we are waiting for Lesnar to come up in the scene and defend his Heavyweight Championship from that fight in UFC91 in which he won against Randy Couture on November 15, 2008.
That is probably one of the reasons why Lesnar is the favorite to win the fight (because he has to defend his title) and also the fact that it is intimidating being Lesnar’s opponent in such an exciting fight. I can’t imagine what Frank Mir could be thinking right now, but I am sure that he is afraid deep in his heart.
The odds as I mentioned, are in Lesnars’ side making him the favorite to win the fight. I don’t see why Lesnar couldn’t be the favorite and I actually support that general opinion, but also, I think that Lesnar is way better prepared to win the fight than Mir and I can almost already taste his winning. This is not the only fight that is taking place Saturday night, but evidently is the most important one. The odds for the rest of the fights are posted here for more reference.
