Next Monday is the start of one of the most popular golf tournaments of the PGA Tour. The Buick Open is going to be held at the Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club located at the beautiful city of Grand Blanc, Michigan. The event is going to take place from Monday July 27th until Sunday August 2nd and is going to be televised in CBS and TGC.
There are some interesting facts that are making this competition attractive. The total purse this year is $5 Million with a share of $900,000 to the winner. Another good detail is that there are 500 FedEx Points in play on this competition to the winner, and that is why everybody is trying to chase those points. I cannot wait until the playoffs to see who is going to win the $10 Million from the FedEx Cup.
The schedule looks normal; nothing really special is going on besides the exciting competition. Here is in more detail how the schedule is going to look.

The tournament looks pretty good. I am excited to see the performance of all the players. The defending champion Kenny Perry leads the field of early player commitments that includes: Recently-crowned U.S. Open winner Lucas Glover, Brian Gay, who has recorded two wins on the PGA TOUR this year. Also we have to include to the list the 2008 Ryder Cup team members and formers of the Buick Open champions Justin Leonard (1996) and Jim Furyk (2003). Three additional past Buick Open winners have also signed on. This players are Scott Verplank (1988), Tom Pernice Jr. (1999) and Brad Faxon (1991), along with PGA TOUR winners J.J. Henry and Corey Pavin. John Daly and reigning U.S.
As you can see, there are a lot of good players signed on this competition. The odds are posted now and you can start picking the winner of the entire competition and also pick as you wish during the competition for each round. The odds look promising and I recommend you to take a look on them More information here.
