This last Sunday 19th we were able to watch one of the most exciting finals in a pro golf competition. Tom Watson was supposed to win but suddenly the champion emerged from the darkness to win the competition and taking the winning out of Watson’s hands.
It was exciting to see how Cink took away the winning from Watson’s hands. Watson was so confident that he was going to win, but at the end, from the Darkness, Stewart Cink came out to win the whole thing.
Tom Watson was the story here, a par away from perhaps the biggest happening in 149 years of the game’s championship history. And there was the nice guy, Cink, with cold blood in his veins, stepping on a Hall of Famer’s neck and not letting go until he sucked the life out of Scotland.
Making a nice score of a -2 to the par, he was able to make Watson get down to the second place and get the $1.2 million from the entire purse.
The top five players are here and we can see that the final score was kind of close between them. Actually one little mistake was the factor that separated the players from each other.
The first place is actually for Stewart Cink which got a -2 to the par. Followed by Watson who was -2 to the par also. Chris Wood and Lee Westwood got the -1 to the par and in the following positions Mathew Goggin, Retief Goosen and Luke Donald were even par.
The odds for all the major Golf competitions are now available. There are many options for each event, match-ups, props. More details here.
