Wednesday night we have a really interesting game. The New York Yankees are playing against the Atlanta Braves. The game will be played at the Turner Field in Atlanta Georgia. The game is going to be nationwide televised this Wednesday 25th on ESPN2 and is going to be starting at 7:00 PM ET.
If we analyze the numbers, which is almost the only way we have for now to look which is the favorite to win the game, we can notice that in the Yankees is a little bit more favorite to win. On the other hand, based in the place in which they will be playing we can see that Atlanta might have that advantage as well.
The Yankees is not playing that well lately, and on its pitcher record we can see that they are not located in the best spot. Wang for the New York Yankees is 0-5 with 12.30 ERA while Hanson for Atlanta is 2-0 with 4.08 ERA.
The Yankees want to see Wang resemble the pitcher who won 19 games in 2006 and 2007. They’d also certainly like to see him duplicate his effort in his only start against the Braves (33-36) on June 28, 2006 when he yielded two runs over eight innings in a 4-3, 12-inning victory.
On the other hand, Atlanta’s coach is completely sure that Wednesday’s game the house will celebrate their win against the Yankees. Anyways, the odds are in favor of Atlanta, but in my opinion, I think that Yankees are going to start and keep a good game up until the fifth inning. The odds are posted now so, everyone can take action on the game. For more information you can go here.
