The fight of the Night!!!. That is how this fight is known and every body is expecting it. Anderson Silva will be fighting Thales Leites at the end of the night to close with the most wanted fight of this UFC97 meeting. The fight will be taking place this April 18th at the Bell Center (Le Centre Bell) at Montreal Canada and is going to be broadcasted in Pay-Per-View television.Definitely the fight of the night…. The mix between a black belt of Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu and a Just Normal fighter that is having a good time winning against average opponents is definitely attract lots of expectation. The fight is full of action, specially because Leites have won more than 99% of the last 15 fights.
Leites is fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, which is bad in terms of he is not fighting in his country. I personally think that he is a really good position right now. Having 14 winners and just one lose is a really good standing. Last time he won, was against McFedries using his special rear naked choke back at the UFC90. Definitely this time I think Leites is going to have another win reaching this case a 6 winning steak which is impressive in this kind of competitions at this level.
Silva is not good fighting at the ground. If take a look back at the last three fights we can see that fighting at the ground is not one of his strengths on his bunch of skills. He can keep the fight on going but we can see that is not really good getting off pressure while he is being attacked at the ground.
On the other hand, we have a fighter that is a black belt in Brazilian Jiu – Jitsu and besides that, he is well known on his country as one of the most skilled and talented Jiu – Jitsu fighters. Another thing is that he is also well known into the UFC as one of the most talented ground fighters, so, we have on this side of the fight a guy that is well prepared to give some action in this matter.
In this case, I suspect that if the fight ends up on the ground we will see how Silva is going to have a nightmare of fight trying to get out of the Jiu – Jitsu tryout. Definitely is going to be a nice fight and in this case my pick to win it is Leites.
