Lance Armstrong got tested this past March 17th by the AFLD (Alliance Francaise de lutte contre le Dopage), “French Alliance of fighting against the doping”. Aparently they are being kind of strict with him and based in a little situation, they may not let Amstrong be at the competition this year 2009.

After training, Lance Armstrong was asked by the AFLD to take some doping tests this past March 17th and while Johann Bruyneel was checking the credentials of the people, Amstrong took 20 minutes to take a shower. Basically Bruyneel was checking with UCI that this people were in fact, authorized to take this kind of samples.

AFLD informed to the UCI that the results on the tests were negative but, they also informed that he broke one of the rules of “Being permanently and direct observation of the responsible during the tests”. Now, AFLD are reinforcing this rule and are claiming that Amstrong didn’t respect that. On the other hand, Amstrong took the shower before starting the tests, so, he was during the test under observation. Now, we need to wait what is going to happen with this.

Armstrong which is a Texan Cyclist is waiting really nervous because he really wants to be at the competition. He is 7 times champion of the competition and if he do it again, is going to be probably that he will win again. Anyway, there is going to be lines in order to have action on the competition. Don’t miss the opportunity to get action on this.
