The Southwest Region is where we have seen a little of everything so far, but now we are left with four teams that would love to keep playing. These two games will be played at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas. One of these teams has a big bull’s-eye on their back, because everyone wants to beat them and that team is the Number One Seed Kansas Jay Hawks.

For the 7:27pm game we have the match up of Richmond Spiders against the Kansas Jay Hawks, it is no surprise that the Jay Hawks are favorites but 10.5 points to me seems way too much. Yes, I know they are a top seed and all, but Richmond has proved to the entire nation that they can straight up play. The Spiders have beat Vanderbilt in the first round 69-66 and then beat Morehead State 65-48, after Morehead had beaten Louisville in the first round, which was a sleeper pick in the mind of many people. So far the Jay Hawks have beaten Boston University 72-53 and then they beat Illinois 73-59 in the second round.

For the late game which is at 9:57pm eastern time, we have the matchup between the number eleven seed Virginia Commonwealth Rams and the ten seed Florida State Seminoles. Both of these teams have looked extremely impressive so far in the tournament, and I was a little shocked to see that the Seminoles are a 3.5 point favorite to beat the Rams. So far, the Rams have sent packing Georgetown Hoyas in the first round 74-56, then in the second round then beat the daylight out of Purdue 94-76. Florida State so far has beaten Texas A&M 57-50, which was a real close game most of the 40mins of play and then they pulled a huge upset beating Notre Dame 71-57, the number two seed. I don`t believe that most people saw that upset coming, but then again this is March Madness anything can happen.
