Friday the 25th is the Semifinals of the East Region for the March Madness Tournament; the East Region is being played at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The four teams that are still alive in this region are Number eleven seed the Golden Eagles of Marquette, the UNC Tar Heels whom are seeded number two, the fourth seed Kentucky Wildcats and the number one seed the Buck Eyes of Ohio State.

Both of these games will be televised nationally on CBS the first game being played at 7:15pm eastern and the second game starting at 9:45pm eastern. The 7:15pm game is a matchup between the Golden Eagles of Marquette against the UNC Tar Heels; currently the line says UNC is a 4.5 point favorite to win the game. Yes, the Tar Heels can score but their defense at times falls apart and if Marquette gets a sniff of a chance to beat them, then they will grab it will all their force. Marquette has made it to the Semis by beating Xavier 66-55, and then knocking out conference rivals the Syracuse Orangemen 66-62. The win over Syracuse speaks great of how well Marquette is playing, but they are a team that never seems to put big numbers up on the scoreboard. The Tar Heels from UNC arrived here by beating, an under matched Long Island University 102-87 and then somehow they pulled of a miracle win, against a strong Washington Huskies Squad that seemed not to be able to miss from behind the arc.
For the 9:25pm game we have the number four seed Kentucky Wildcats, against the top seed Ohio State who is also the top ranked team in the Nation. The current line says that the Buck Eyes of Ohio State are favorite to walk away with a win by 5.5 points. Both these teams love to shot three pointers and we know that they both make them too, but Ohio State is a scary team when they start dropping those three pointers, because at times it just seems like they are in practice session due to the fact that they seem to make them all. Kentucky beat Princeton 59-57 and then beat West Virginia 71-63, which was impressive. The Buck Eyes made it here by beating University of Texas at San Antonio 75-46 and then humiliating George Mason 98-66. This for sure will be the best game to watch and one can be 100% sure that it will be a good game where lots of points are scored.
